In this Utopian future plants have been genetically modified to pump/blow more oxygen into the atmosphere.  These plants were made due to the past environment where there was smog pollution.  These plants which provide shade also provide a small breeze on a warm summer day.  These go for all plants.  Which makes them actually breathe.
