A reminder of futures, Counterfactual.  In a world where everyone is happy and the political system is designed to bring joy, it is easy to forget that this is not the only way to exist.  Politicians are required to carry an inhaler that induces visions of other futures, as well as a deep feeling of personal responsibility.Whenever they begin to feel complacent, they are reminded of their responsibility through a deep breath.
